Public Holiday

Public holiday is a feature that allows you to set the working hours of the agent and to know when agents can be available on OmniChannel.

  • First, login as ‘Administrator‘, for the 3Dolphins SRM login mechanism, do the steps described on the ‘Login‘ page.

  • Go to Administration and click the Public Holiday menus, then you will see a public holiday page such as images below.

Create New Holiday

When you want to know the work schedule or maybe the agent’s day off schedule, the thing you need to do is to make the agent’s schedule in your work calendar.

In the upper right corner, click +new holiday button. Then, you will see a pop-up form to set the agents work schedule, enter the name of holiday and choose the date of day off.

Field component explanation :

Field NameDescription
NameField to enter description regarding on holiday or day off.
DateField to set the date of agent’s holiday or day off.

For example, create agent day off in date ‘21/09/2020‘ such as images below.

If create new agents day off successful, you will see a successful notification pop-up and the agents day off will be displayed on the calendar, as shown images below.

Edit an Existing Public Holiday

Sometimes, you might need to change the schedule of public holiday. Maybe it’s because you choose the wrong day off or other problem.

Select and click a public holiday schedule from the list of the public holiday page. Then, you will see a pop-up of manage holiday, update schedule as needed and then click the Save button.

If editing an existing public holiday is successful, you will see a success notification pop-up and the latest updated public holiday in the calendar as shown image below.

Delete an Existing Public Holiday

Sometimes you need to remove the schedule day off of agent from a system, maybe it’s because agent cancel leave or other problem. In the public holiday page, select and click the schedule. Then, you will see a pop-up of manage holiday, click Delete button. If the schedule is deleted successfully, you will see a successful pop-up notification.
