# Body Template

Pada field body, Anda dapat menulis body pesan dengan maksimal 1024 karakter. Body pesan ini bersifat mandatory karena body pesan ini berisi apa yang ingin Anda sampaikan kepada pelanggan. Kemudian, jika Anda telah memasukkan body pesan maka preview dari body pesan tersebut akan muncul di bagian kanan halaman.

Pada body pesan ini Anda juga dapat menambahkan variable dengan **{{#}}** untuk nantinya akan diganti oleh string. Angka di dalam kurung kurawal **{{#}}** menunjukkan **indeks variabel**, yang digunakan untuk menentukan urutan dan pemetaan data variabel tersebut.

Sebagai contoh pada gambar diatas, setelah variable {{1}} dibuat , maka pada saat Anda membuat notification (masuk ke menu [**Notification > Create Notification**](/5.3.0-id/marketing/notification/create-notification.md)) menggunakan template tersebut, pada form message Anda akan diminta untuk mengisi variable index 1, kemudian variable {{1}} akan diganti sesuai variable index yang Anda masukkan, seperti gambar dibawah.
