# Workflow Integration

Workflow Integration is used to determine whether the delivery of messages using this template must go through a workflow process first. If you select **'Require workflow when sending notifications'** it means that every message using this template must be processed through a configured workflow.

{% hint style="info" %}
To learn more about workflows, you can visit [this](/bot-settings/process-flow.md) page.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
When you select workflow integration, the workflow field on the notification page will be automatically filled according to the workflow configuration in the template and cannot be changed.
{% endhint %}

As shown in the example above, after checking the checkbox and selecting a workflow, when you create a broadcast message on the [Notification](/marketing/notification.md) page (go to [**Notification > Create Notification**](/marketing/notification/create-notification.md)) and use this template in the **Message** section, the **workflow** field will be automatically populated according to the template configuration and cannot be changed, as illustrated in the image below.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.3dolphins.ai/marketing/template/request-template/utility-template/workflow-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
