# Active and Inactive Template

After adding the template criteria, to be able to do an agent appraisal, you need to activate the template so that the template appears in the appraisal form.

By default, templates that have been successfully added will be **active** so you can immediately use them for appraisal. However, if you like to disable those templates, simply switch this option **inactive**. The green color in the template indicates that the template is 'active'. But, the yellow color in the template indicates that the template criteria are 'inactive'.

For example, if the criteria template is created for the live chat channel, the template criteria will only appear on live chat tickets and not appear on telegram tickets, email, etc. If the template is **active**, template criteria will display in the appraisal form, such as the images below.

But, if the template is **inactive**, template criteria will not display in the appraisal form, such as images below.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.3dolphins.ai/quality-assurance/rating-criteria/active-and-inactive-template.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
