# Lead

A lead contains information about potential deals that you’ve identified and will be used as consideration for making deals. Lead comes from anywhere, could be from your social media advertising, company website, or sales representative contact. It helps your sales team to consider which lead has the bigger opportunity that will be turned into a deal.

You can access this page by going to the **Sales** **Activity.** Then, select the **Lead** menu.
